Ferrell Construction has been a driving force in the construction industry for thirty-plus years. It was originally founded in May 1976 as Dahlstrom and Ferrell Construction Co., Inc.

From its inception, Dahlstrom and Ferrell found success as a commercial builder. Starting small at the beginning, the success continued as the company handled larger, more complex projects.

The company continued to build a solid reputation that reflected their philosophy; to provide quality projects in a timely manner. Through their efforts to improve and seek new, better means of production, they were able to expand their business.

The company tackled the tough jobs, took pride in not being a “broker”, and maintained a quality work force led by experienced field supervision. In 1990 George Dahlstrom retired and Dean Ferrell assumed sole control of the business. The company name was changed to Ferrell Construction of Topeka, Inc.

Since 1990, Ferrell Construction has continued to grow. Today, Ferrell Construction is one of the leading general contracting companies in the Topeka area.
